Rowan Radio at 60: WGLS-FM Memories

Rowan Radio 89.7 WGLS-FM has turned 60. Recently, Rowan Radio celebrated its 60th anniversary at a special event commemorating the station's legacy. The event featured nearly 200 attendees including past and present station members. Several station alumni dating back to the 1960s shared their experiences, discussed their favorite memories, and shared insight to future students.
