Two guests with African roots join 'The American Dream' to share and compare what it means to be purpose-driven. Nzingha Rothmiller, age 15, talks about her recent experience as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County's 2018 Youth of the Year. She ended up in the top four in the State Competition. Siddiq Kamara, age 22, shares his journey from West Africa to becoming a top civil service professional and community leader. 

Everything Special Needs: Max Lenet & The Challenger League

Host Sue Shilling is joined by Max Lenet, who shares an inspirational story. Max has overcome the challenges of various special needs to make the Dean's list in his first year of college. He has also volunteered in the Challenger league. We will also hear from Max's mother Dinah, as well as their family friend Larry Kaplan. Kaplan volunteers in the Challenger League and is a major supporter of Max.​
